About Me.

Hi, I'm Emily. 

I was diagnosed with depression in February 2021. As you can imagine, it had a really profound impact on my life.  At my worst, I had little appetite, no energy, I felt like crying and staying in bed all day, and I lost interest in the things I love.  

When I was diagnosed, along with my health care provider, I came up with a three pronged approach for my depression management plan; stress management, nutrition, and activity. 


I wanted to get better.  Not just to return back to the happy, healthy version of myself for me, but for my kids.  

And that's why I created the #take10withem campaign for mental health.  By doing something to help you manage your stress, nutrition, or activity for 10 minutes a day, you help yourself and others, because we can't pour from an empty cup. 
WHO IS THIS FOR?

It's for anyone who feels like they connect with my story. After hearing from people in my community, these resources are targeted primarily for moms, the military, & the ultra-motivated.
